The track teams just had their first meet and it means running. A LOT OF RUNNING! Just like in the movie McFarland, USA, directed by Niki Caro. This two-hour movie is full of everything you can expect from a great film! First, a famous main actor. Indeed you can find Kevin Costner playing a coach/teacher who has to move him and his family to a little town of California where everyone is of Mexican descent. Second, a good plot. Mr. White, the ‘new guy’, is going to start a cross-country team with discouraged students that have family problems and demanding fieldwork. Fight scenes, struggle, friendship, love, and unity all make this film a must-see. This true story captivates you with humor and emotion. I would recommend this movie to everybody! Even if you don’t like running… McFarland, USA could actually change your mind! Don’t wait any longer; RUN to see this movie before it’s not in theaters anymore!!!
