Northmen News: What are you most excited about being nominated?
Jen Stock: “Definitely the game. I’m excited to go out and hear the announcement of who won.”
NN: What are you least excited about being nominated?
JS: “There isn’t really anything. It’s just a really positive experience.”
NN: How did your family react to your nomination?
JS: “They were really excited. My sister [OP alumn Jamie Stock] was up too. They didn’t really know what to do during my wakeup.”
NN: You all went to Clardy. Is it cool to be nominated now, as seniors?
JS: “I love it. I call us the Crazy Eight. It’s really so much fun being recognized together.”
Lexie Blackwell
Northmen News: What are you most excited about being nominated?
Lexie Blackwell: “I’m excited to spend time with the girls.”
NN: What are you least excited about being nominated?
LB: “Nothing really, it’s awesome to be nominated.”
NN: How did your family react to your nomination?
LB: “They were so excited. They told friends and family about it.”
NN:You all went to Clardy. Is it cool to be nominated now, as seniors?
LB: “Yes, it’s so awesome. We grew up together and now we’re reppin’ Clardy.”
Allison Pinet
Northmen News: What are you most excited about being nominated?
Allison Pinet: “I’m just really happy for the opportunity. And I’m really looking forward to the assembly.”
NN: What are you least excited about being nominated?
AP: “Not really anything. I love being up.”
NN: How did your family react?
AP: “My mom was more excited than I was, I think. She was taking pictures when wake up were happening.”
NN: You all went to Clardy. Is it cool to be nominated together now as seniors?
AP: “Yeah, it’s so cool. We were talking about it at like 4 in the morning. It’s great.”
Millie Kingsbury
Northmen News: What are you most excited about being nominated?
Millie Kingsbury: “The whole experience. Candidates get the privilege to do so many cool things and it’s a lot of fun.”
NN: What are you least excited about being nominated?
MK: “It can sometimes get kind of stressful.”
NN: How did your family react to your nomination?
MK: “My family was super excited. My sister is planning on coming home from college for the game and assembly.”
NN: You all went to Clardy. Is it cool to be nominated together now as seniors?
MK: “I think it’s awesome that we’re all up together. We’ve known each other for so long but have gone different ways with different sports and activities so it’s neat to all be together again.”
Rachel Mallin
Northmen News: What are you most excited about being nominated?
Rachel Mallin: “I’m really excited, since I was a kid, I’ve always thought about the song I would choose when I walk down the gym, and the silly things I would say over the intercom. I’m excited to be up with Maddie and it’s just a really good group of girls.”
NN: What are you least excited about being nominated?
RM: “I’m least excited about wearing heels; I’m not use to wearing heels. And I have a white dress, and I don’t want to get grass stains. I don’t like wearing dresses, I feel weird.”
NN: How did your family react?
RM: “Jake [Boeding] accidently called me to get ahold of my mom and tried to disguise his voice, but I could tell it was him. But anyway, my mom was tearing up and said she would have never imagined that I’d be up; thanks mom. But my dad was being weird and told me to clean my room; he didn’t really know what to do, there were a bunch of people with leaf blowers in my room early in the morning.”
NN: You all went to Clardy. Is it cool to be nominated together now as seniors?
RM: “We realized all at once that we were all Clardy alumni, it’s really cool. We have all become estranged throughout the years, but it’s cool to come back together and to see that they are still genuine people.”
Amber Hemmie
Northmen News: What are you most excited about being nominated?
Amber Hemmie: “I’m most excited about the assembly because I’ll be with all my friends and family while getting to participate in the candidate events and the senior dance.”
NN: What are you least excited about being nominated?
AH: “I’m least excited about picking things such as who my three charm givers that will be announced are because I don’t want to leave anyone out.”
NN: How did your family react?
AH: “My family was really excited and happy for me, my sister called me and congratulated me the started questioning me on who my date was, what kind of dress I was going to get, etc.”
NN: You all went to Clardy. Is it cool to be nominated together now as seniors?

Madeline Marx
Northmen News: What are you most excited about being nominated?
Madeline Marx: “[I’m most excited about] dancing with Mr. [Bill] Dennis at the dance, under the string lights, to a Journey song.”
NN: What are you least excited about being nominated?
MM: “[I’m least excited about] having to wear make-up and wearing a girdle.”
NN: How did your family react?
MM: “When they found out, my mom started dancing and my dad started crying.”
NN: You all went to Clardy. Is it cool now to be nominated together now as seniors?
MM:” It’s really cool, I was in class with at least one of them each year and it’s like we’re reuniting, I guess.”
Justice Lorzano
Northmen News: What are you most excited about being nominated?
Justice Lorzano: “I’m most excited to buy my dress and the game to see who wins.”
NN: What are you least excited about being nominated?
JL: “I’m least excited about the heels I’m going to have to wear.”
NN: How did your parents react?
JL: “They were very excited; they were really proud and supportive.”

JL: “We all figured that out the night of wake-ups and we wanted to call Clardy to tell them they did a good job.”
