Northmen defeat Hornets

In a 74-65 game, the 11-1 Northmen pass by the 5-4 Hornets Friday night.

On Wednesday, Jan. 8, NKC Schools student Ryker Nakahodo begins to shovel his driveway by throwing it atop a pile. He did all this in the hope that shoveling snow would earn some money. On Thursday, Dec.5, junior Luke Robinett plays his bass looking toward his director Erick Theno. This is the symphonic orchestra, the elite of string instruments. They played “Plowing Through the Snow” at this part of their Christmas concert. Which is why there’s a Santa hat. “I thought we did really good,” Robinett said. “We’ve been working a lot on intonation, recently, which really, I think really helped. And then I think just kind of the work we’ve put in, we’ve all been on the same page, just working hard.”
