For a project, English seniors created different posters to present information to others. Each poster focused on a unique topic designed to teach and engage the audience. By sharing their work, students practiced communication and creativity skills. This project allowed everyone to learn from each other in an interactive and visual way.
ELA language arts teachers Frieda Green and Rob Bastarache have been doing this for the last past two years. Green asked her students do this so they can learn a little more of professionalism while studying a topic that they have a passion for studying.
Senior Landon VanPelt presents his poster board on "hoop guard" to special education teacher Martrez Taylor. VanPelt said how young basketball players can prevent injuries. He really liked this project, "It felt good to you know talk about it."
