The final orchestral concert of the 2025-2026 school year was held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, in the main auditorium. As is tradition, Seniors in the symphonic orchestra arrived in their prom attire, be it a dress or a suit, or anything in between. Everyone showed up to the concert looking their best.
The Orchestra this year is comprised of 20 graduating seniors, 10 juniors and five sophomores.
This will be the program’s final end-of-year concert in the old auditorium, which has been standing strong since 1965.
Senior Juliana Lopez stands in her prom dress, smiling into the crowd at her final concert as a part of the Symphonic orchestra on April 28th. For the Senior’s final concerts they played arrangements of "The Flower duet" and "Into the storm" accompanied by the Oak Park band. Lopez says that her favorite song was “probably the flower duet. I like how the middle had a bunch of clashing notes, it gave me chills"
