A massive leap from off the block, water rises for the swimmer to fly through it. On Saturday, Nov. 14, junior Xavier Cavanaugh shot off the block in the St. Peters Rec-Plex. The Pec-Plex holds State Mens Swim & Dive, and the Oak Park relay was about to get in for state. Cavanaugh was the last man, anchor, of his 400-relay and made sure OP made great placement. Cavanaugh said, “Think it was pretty great, you know, like, it was kind of a crazy feeling on that like, like, this is the race that every practice has led up to, you know, like, this is the last one I’m going to get this season.’
