On Friday, April 11, in the Little Theater, Oak Park hosted its second to last One Acts. Even though it’s sad to say One Acts soon halting until next year, this was a chance for the writers and actors to go all out. Not a single one of them held back during the show.
This One Acts showed five different and unique shows. Going down the list starts “Jersey Snore,” “The Day Before Saturday,” “Judge Baddie,” “Sugar Spice and Stage Moms,” and “Newly Seen News.” Everyone in this show had only eight days to rehearse and perfect their lines and scenes. And each one of them excelled in this regard.
To anyone sad about missing the One Acts for this year or on the fence about trying to get into One Acts, please consider going to one or even trying to take part in One Acts. From everyone who took part in the show, they all said that they loved it, so don’t be scared and go to next year’s rehearsal.
