The leaves changing color, crisper air, and cozy sweaters are all associations you may make with the fall season. However this season, there is only one thing on my mind: Headrush Roasters’ fall menu items.
I am a coffee fan, some may say caffeine addict, but I have surely bought my fair share of iced lattes.
This fall season, the family-owned Headrush Roasters on North Oak Trafficway, has been the one-stop shop for fall flavors.
My current favorite has been the French toast iced latte. There is a wonderful French toast taste with maple and cinnamon, combined with their high quality espresso and milk creating a delicious latte I highly recommend.
However in the words of administrative assistant Ashlee Wells, “Pumpkin is fall. Fall. Is. Pumpkin.”
According to Headrush, their signature “Pumpkin Head” latte is a pumpkin spice latte done better, and Wells and I can’t help but agree. The Pumpkin Head uses Headrush’s house-made pumpkin sauce, white mocha, and nutmeg. This is a pumpkin spice latte elevated, and so, so, yummy for pumpkin fans!
For the non-coffee drinkers, they offer a pumpkin vanilla chai that is just divine! A chai tea latte, with pumpkin and vanilla added is such a good drink for the fall time.
“It just was very warm and cozy and it made me feel like fall when I was drinking it. It’s so good,” senior Alaina Thomas said.
Thomas and I are also sweet treat fans, so when we saw the house-made fall pastries we couldn’t help but indulge.
The pumpkin bread is my go to. Very good texture and scrumptious pumpkin flavor! Get it warmed for an ever better treat.
Thomas enjoys the pumpkin cream cheese muffin.
“It’s so good. It’s perfect for fall, it’s a perfect amount of pumpkin, perfect amount of fall, perfect amount of spice. It’s just perfect,” Thomas said.
For these, and even more fun festive fall items, stroll by Headrush for the cute environment, friendly staff, and amazing menu!
