On Thursday, August 23 the Parent Teacher Student Association held the annual Back-to-school Picnic at Oak Grove Park. At the picnic, fall sports were represented by members and coaches describing victories and goals.
Students enjoy food served and sold by PTSA. Students came to the picnic to show school spirit and support fall sports.
Cheerleaders and the Marching Northmen perform the fight song. This performance began the picnic.

The pommies perform their superior award winning routine. The dancers also performed at the back-to-school assembly.
The senior football players are introduced by coach Chris Holt. The team’s first game will be Friday, August 24 at Oak Park beginning at 7 p.m.
Coach Candy McCall introduces the players on all volleyball teams. This year, McCall was able to assemble a freshman team because so many tried out.
The soccer boys fill the stage as coach Derek Noll takes the microphone. Noll took time to speak about each senior soccer player at the end of his presentation.
Oak Street, lead by director Chris Droegemueller, performs the Alma Mater. Last year the choir won three national competitions.
Members of the PTSA sell spirit wear. At lunch, Leadership students gave suckers with information about the picnic out to students. Some suckers had coupons for these clothes to be redeemed at the picnic.
Football players, and their peers, participate in a casual game of football. Students stayed at Oak Grove after the presentations were finished to spend time with one another.
