On Friday, Dec. 9, the cast list for the Theatre Department’s next two productions was posted. Northmen News caught up with the cast of the winter play “Oscar and Felix” to have them describe their characters.
Senior Eric Callicoat
character: Murray
“I am one of Oscar and Felix’s poker buddies. I am also a police officer.”
Senior Alex Stompoly
character: Felix Ungar
“Felix is a very organized and uptight neat freak. I guess you could say he has OCD. Like, extreme.”
Senior Alex Carroll
character: Vinnie
“Well, from what I know so far he’s ‘one of the guys’. He’s basically a nice guy that if someone needs something done he’ll do it; a little like me in a way.”
Senior Jordan Cook
character: Roy
“He is an accountant for either Oscar or Felix.”
Sophomore Taylor Welch
character: Hoolya
“She is from the country of Spain. She’s kind of stupid.”
Senior Michael Halford
Character: Oscar
“He’s a very sloppy guy, he doesn’t take care of his apartment. Ever since he was divorced he likes to think he can get all the ladies.”
Junior Madeline Marx
Character: Speed
“I’m a poker buddy. I’m a dude.”
Junior Courtney Wiggins
Character: Julia
“She’s fairly ditzy but also very flirtatious.”
