This girls golf season will be the final season before graduation for some on the team. While it’s sad to say goodbye, the girls said it’s best to make the most of the final season which could vary from placing in a tournament, creating new bonds, or enhancing existing bonds from the previous years.
Senior Ava Sanderson said, “It’s sad that the season is ending, I love golf.”
Senior Lily Tice was also sad about the season ending,
“Well you know it’s obviously sad that this is the last season, and golf hasn’t been in my life for that long and I haven’t really been serious,” Tice said. “And I never really thought that I would play golf.”
Senior Nora Martin also had similar thoughts.
“It’s weird cause I never thought I would play golf and it was nice playing.”
Even though joining the golf team was unexpected for some of the players, the team made impactful bonds.
“I appreciate the time with the girls on the team and the environment that comes with the team,” Tice said. “I’m going to miss the people on the team and I hope afterwards we can stay connected.”
Martin also said, “It was nice that I made so many bonds on the team.”
