REVIEW: Finding Dory

Overview:

Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) is a wide-eyed, blue tang fish who suffers from memory loss every 10 seconds or so. The one thing she can remember is that she somehow became separated from her parents as a child. With help from her friends Nemo and Marlin, Dory embarks on an epic adventure to find them. Her journey brings her to the Marine Life Institute, a conservatory that houses diverse ocean species. Dory now knows that her family reunion will only happen if she can save mom and dad from captivity.

Review:

When I first heard about the new ‘Finding Dory’ movie, I was ecstatic.  I absolutely loved ‘Finding Nemo’ as a kid and I had high hopes for this movie.  Fortunately, it reached my standards.  The story-line was perfect and really brought you on a roller coaster.   The journey to find her family, was very suspenseful and put you on the edge of your seat the whole time. When Dory finally found her parents, I was on the verge of tears.   It was a great family- friendly movie, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sequel to an amazing children’s movie.
