REVIEW: Grinter’s Sunflower Farm

The Sunflower Farm has been around for a few years now, but this year everyone was raving about the Sunflower Farm. It was the place to be young to old. Jamien Bartlow, Sarah White and Ty Foxworthy were a few people that went and thoroughly enjoyed it.

How was the drive?

  • “At first I thought it was only 30 minutes, but I realized it was the wrong address. So it was really about an hour,” said senior Jamien Bartlow.
  • “It was fine. We took a longer way to avoid the tolls. It was like 40 minutes,” said senior Sarah White.

Was it muddy?

  • “Yes, it was pretty muddy because it rained the night before,” said Bartlow.
  • “Yes, it was very muddy. Our shoes were really dirty, my friend fell in the mud,” said White.

Was it too crowded?

  • “Not really everyone had a place to take their own pictures,” said Bartlow.
  • “We were the only people there,” said White.

Did you take any sunflowers?

  • “No, most of them had words (on them), and the smelled,” said Bartlow.
  • “We all took one,” said White.

Who did you go with?

  • “I went with my sister,” said Bartlow.
  • “My two friends Tiffany Smith and Kylie Banks,” said White.

Was it hard to park and get out of parking?

  • “Yes, because the road was very narrow and everyone had to park on the side of the road,” said Bartlow.
  • “No, we were the only ones there, Tiffany’s car got stuck in the mud a little bit,” said White.

What did you use to take the pictures?

  • “We just used our phones,” said Bartlow.

Would you go again?

  • “No, unless someone paid for gas because it was a long drive. Or if my parents went because I got scared when I accidently forgot to pay the toll,” said Bartlow.
  • “Yes, but I would go earlier in the year,” said White.

Overall everyone agreed that it was a great place to take pictures, despite the mud, drive and parking. Everyone enjoyed themselves, although they don’t all think that they would rush to come back.
