Finals: Were students prepared or stressed?

The last week of school before winter break has approached, which means the week we’ve all been dreading is here as well: four long days of gruesome finals. Tensions are high during this week and both students and teachers are counting down the days till it’s all over.

In most cases, it’s students last chance to get their grades up before the end of the semester so they spend countless hours studying topics ranging from the periodic table of elements to Shakespeare’s literary techniques.

A poll asking 42 students which subject’s final they were most stressed about, revealed that two students aren’t stressed about finals at all, seven are worried about foreign language, six for social studies, five for science, one for communication arts, and 21 students were most stressed for a math final.
