At the end of December and beginning of January, many people decide to make a new year’s resolution – a large change to their life they want to implement in the coming months.

Some people look upon them disapprovingly, believing that if one wants to change, time and place shouldn’t matter. But usually, people optimistically make goals for themselves and make a plan to reach their goal.

Freshman Ellie Santeusanio said her resolution was to do better in school.

“I want to focus more and bring my 90 percents up to 95 percents.” She said, “I want to do this by organizing better time management and doing weekly grade checks.”
