On Wednesday, Oct. 21, Oak Park had its first of many Improv shows.

The Improv team, supervised by Brian Gehrlein, is an exclusive program intended for only sophomores and upperclassmen. You have to audition to even be on the team.

Only the funniest of the funniest and the equally dramatic can join.

Junior Dean Foreman said, “The most special part of being on Improv is creating these fun skits and having fun with these games, and then the people of the audience are enjoying them with you! They are laughing along with you and that’s really special.”

The Improv team is more than just a group of great actors.

“I love my teammates,” Foreman said. “They’re like another family to me.”
