The tragedy of Abdisamad Sheikh Hussein struck thousands of students in the northland. A man driving outside of his Somali center hit the sophomore at Staley High School. Police later confirmed it as a “hate crime”. A few students in particularly decided to do something about it. Senior Ali Harb decided to plan an anti-violence initiative. Their message is “Stop the hate” “Spread the love.” They even have t-shirts to purchase for $15. All sales go to a Foundation in Adams honor.On February 7th from 3 to 5pm at Staley high school they  held a peace walk for anyone and everyone to attend.
