Jack Skellington, pumpkin king and the main character, is tired of the same old Halloween that is always happening in Halloween Town. While wandering through the woods, he finds a tree that is decorated with lights and ornaments. During Christmas Eve night, a train, The Polar Express, picks him up and takes him on a journey throughout the night that makes him believe things he didn’t think he could believe.
