Review: Joy Wok

What is Joy Wok:

Joy Wok is a Chinese buffet in Liberty, near 152 and 35. It was opened in 2010 by Kevin and Jennifer Liu. The buffet contains a variety of foods from crab legs to general tso’s chicken. It also has a sushi bar and a Hitachi grill.joy-wok-image

Review:

I have gone to Joy Wok multiple times, including once for dinner before last year’s Sadie Hawkins dance. Each time I go I am greeted quickly and almost immediately given a seat. The service is always quick, and is very good at keeping your glass full.

The food is great, and they are very good at keeping the dishes full. Compared to many of the other Chinese Buffets in the area, Joy Wok has amazing service and food. The sushi bar is usually pretty good, and has a pretty good variety.

As far as price goes, weekends are, of course, a little more expensive, however going during the week is a relatively fair price for an all you can eat buffet.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Joy Wok to people who like Chinese food. The combination of different kinds of food, good service, and fair price makes it a great experience.
