Attention seniors and juniors- the time has come. Deadlines. Scholarships. Most scholarship deadlines are Dec. 1. These are super important because you can get thousands of dollars by just writing a few simple essays about yourself.

Most scholarship opportunities can be found on the counseling web page, which is located in the resources tab on Oak Park’s home page. There are plenty of scholarships you could qualify for.

When you apply for college, you may also qualify for automatic scholarships by your test scores (ACT and SAT) and GPA. You could also qualify based on the annual income your family brings in. It usually goes that the less money your parents make- the more money you receive for college.

Take advantage of the money while it is there- your parents will thank you later!
