Throughout the school year, AP Studio Art students work on various projects to create their breadth portfolio, which must be completed by the end of first semester. The AP Studio Art class’ breadth portfolio is a combination of different mediums in the production of different pieces of art. Some people sculpt, draw, animation, photography, or paint. The breadth portfolio is supposed to show all the different mediums the student can accomplish.
Junior Abigail Johnson; Johnson photographed one of her friends after he had gotten into a car accident and used it in her breadth portfolio.
Junior Caitilyn Taylor; Taylor photographed a farm landscape to add to her breadth portfolio.
Senior Christopher Flores; this is Flores’ artwork for the annual greeting card design contest.
Senior Jessica Mateus-Garcia; Mateus-Garcia made this piece of art in an art class last year. This sculpture shows her hatred towards abuse, whether it’s animals or humans being abused.
Senior Sydney Bennett; Bennett took this photograph of her sister for her breadth portfolio.
Senior Yadira Lopez; Lopez designed and made this dress for her breadth portfolio. The horses are supposed to show motion as the dress is spun around.
Senior Alexa Giordano; Giordano made some artwork out of dying flowers and leaves to add to her breadth portfolio.
