Yazmin Tate is 15 years old and is a sophomore on the DIT pathway, this is her second year on
yearbook. She was the only freshman in yearbook due to her being gregarious. Although
she loves yearbook there’s one other thing she loves more, and that’s swimming. Yazmin has
been competitively swimming since she was 8 to 9 years old. She even manages the boys team
in the fall, as well as coaches the middles schoolers in the spring. She even helps with the
littles for her summer swim team. Yazmin has yet to fully decide what she wants to do in the
future, but whatever she chooses she just hopes she loves it and that it helps others.
