Olivia Banuelos is a senior and is in the DIT pathway, despite this she wants to become a radiologist. She has a strong passion of anything creative, which lead her into becoming a yearbook designer for her last year of school.
Her favorite subjects have been ELA and any of the art classes she took, while her least favorite has always been math. This will also be her fourth and final year of tennis.
She has taken honors ELA, AP Language, and AP Literature to foster her love of reading and writing. Also to contribute to her love of art, she has taken Creative Design 1–3, Sculpting and 3D Art, and AP Art and Design.
Her interest in the arts formed when she would go over to her grandma’s house and see all the paintings and sculptures that she had made and wanted to make her own as well.
She developed a love of writing through her ELA classes and wanting to create her own stories just like the ones she’s read.
Olivia has been in the art show for the past three years and has progressed immensely in her passion. She’s also began to write her own small book and has been working on it for about a year.
While she has been focusing on her hobbies, she has also been focusing on her future career. She’s on the A+ Program
and is finishing out Gold Medallion, using this she plans to go to a community college of her choice and get
her associate’s degree to become a radiologist.
When she’s not focused on her career or reading and writing passions, she is usually nose deep into a book – which is another huge passion of hers.
In the future, she hopes to continue her passions while being a radiologist, she hopes this will give her enough money to maintain a happy family with kids that she very much wants more than anything –even her passions. she plans to use her passions as a side gig to make money while beginning her path towards being a radiologist to make sure she’s on steady ground before having children.
