Katie Slattery is a senior at Oak Park this and is on her third year in journalism. Katie is also starting her second year working with the social media, and is excited to run it individually this year.

She has a big love for music, and even saw two concerts over the summer. She believes music can help people communicate in a way they otherwise may not be able to. Kate is hoping to start college in the fall as part of a program that can help people. Whether that be as an educator, as a child therapist, or as a broadcaster, Katie’s passion lies with helping others and will always work towards that goal.
