Neurotypical describes individuals whose brains and cognitive functioning are considered within the typical range for their culture and age group, while neurodivergent describes individuals whose brains and cognitive functioning differ from what is considered typical. In room 250, the American Sign Language Club meets on Tuesday, Nov. 14, to learn the rest of the alphabet, how to introduce themselves, and basic greetings. Freshman Lilyana Guisinger introduces herself in ASL to freshman Eloise Camarda. Guisinger and Camarda were here for marketing but decided to join in learning. “The first thing we learned is class was ‘Hello, my name is, and then fingerspell your name,” sponsor Robin Marsh said.

Sponsor Jennifer Hoxworth introduces other members including senior Saeed Shalabi, sophomore Hunter Ake, junior TJ Kahoe, and senior Katelynn Murphy. In this meeting, dates of next meetings and what the club will be doing were discussed. Infinity Club will meet every second Wednesday, other than in January and May.
