The Oak Park cheerleading squad 2024-2025 has 29 total cheerleaders on both the gameday and navy squad. They cheer for football, volleyball, and basketball all year. As the season comes to an end with the boys basketball team heading to state, the last cheer practice of this season preps them for that performance.
Illiana Nova starts flying in a stunt. The most challenging part of flying she said, “The pressure of having everyone watch you, because they are looking at you not your bases or your back spot so you have to make sure you’re the one pulling up, smiling, and hitting your motions.”
