This year, the mens swim team showed dedication both in the water and at practice, leading to impressive results.

This 2024 season was full of a variety of athletes from different grades and years of experience.
”This season, our training regimen was the toughest we’ve faced,” sophomore Ty McKinnis said. “Trusting our coach and the process was essential.”
They supported each other which pushed them.
“Over the course of the whole season, we struggled with continuing to stay focused in our training and translating that into our swims and our competition and really, we overcame that by staying together as a team and continuing to build our team and not making it about us individually,” Place said.
This season, the womens swim team was eager to tackle new challenges and achieve their goals as they progress through the competitions.
“This year my big goal is to podium at state in the 500, so top 8, and for my mindset is: I’m just focusing on hard work pays off and making sure I’m putting my best effort in every practice,” captain senior Kimberly Green said.
Personal growth and improving with each meet were the goal and what pushes them to stay focused.
Senior Tycie Parker said, “The goals I have for the season is to drop time in my 500 and my 50 free, and my mind set that I have to accomplish those is to keep pushing myself.”
