Freshman running back Eli Schumann, No. 9, runs in for a touchdown against the Northtown Hornets. Schumann said he has been playing football for eight years. He hopes to play D1 at Michigan. One thing that stuck out to Eli during the game was “the bond with his teammates.” The final score was 21-8, Oak Park taking the win on Monday, Oct. 14.
Freshman football wins, dreams big
Assistant coach Thomas Gratto raises his arms as Oak Park scored a touchdown against St. Joe Central on Friday, Oct. 4. “We played confidently and executed our game plan well,” Gratto said. This good performance led the Northmen to win 52-13.
