The movie”Smile”  is a very popular movie. The second movie just came out recently but today we are talking about the first one. I would personally rate the movie a 7/10 due to the fact I liked it but at the same time I did not.  

I would not recommend this to anyone that does not like blood or scary stuff because if you have struggles with that this is not the movie for you. I would recommend it to the people who really like horror movies. 

The movie had a lot, and I mean a lot of blood and deaths shown which personally I didn’t like it that much, many movies do have a lot of blood and deaths, but this one just had insane ways they died. 

 The movie had some scenes where she talked to people she loved very much and trusts to confide in them about what was happening to her, and they did not believe her. I think this also happens in real life sometimes as well with people trusting other people and it turns out they don’t believe or/ trust the other person’s words or disregard completely what they say. 

There waswere a lot of times where she started to investigate everything; she figured out how to get to the bottom of what was happening to her, which I like mysteries so personally I found that part interesting.  

They also had major plot twists in the movie because when I thought she killed the “evil entity,” apparently it was all in her head and she ended up killing herself due to the “evil entity,” and I believe it may have transferred to her friend who came to check on her and ended up witnessing her death. 

The end of the movie was unexpected because I thought that she finally killed the monster, but the monster got to her.  

The end of the movie made me want to view the new movie, which is the second movie of “Smile,” due to the fact it was left on a cliffhanger, and we never discovered what happened to her friend who saw her kill herself.
