Oak Park students were surprised with life-changing news today.

The KC Scholars program presented several scholarships. KC Scholars promotes college and career training for metro residents through a variety of programs.

• KC Scholars for 11^th graders is a 50,000 scholarship they can use for participating colleges in Missouri and Kansas.
