How cool would it be if Oprah Winfrey ran for president?
If Oprah ran, she could be the first woman president in the U.S. Although many people think it’s a good idea for her to become president others think different.
At the Golden Globe Awards, Oprah had a speech and opened up about how running for president could be a possibility. If Oprah was president this would also affect many people because some might not agree with it.
One student said, “I don’t think it really matters as long as she does her job right.”
Another said, “I don’t think she is experienced enough to run for office.”
The current president also thinks Oprah running for president in 2020 may not be the best idea.
