Tired of asking your parents for money? Looking to earn your own, so you can have fun with your friends this summer? Here are some great places you can work to do that!

• Nanny: If you’re good with children or pets, there’s always the chance of you becoming a regular sitter for families needing full-time dog or child care. Possibly even house sitting. Getting paid to live in someone else’s house would not be a bad job. The pay varies through the home owner/parent, but usually starts around 10 dollars an hour.
• Lifeguard: It’s summer why not get paid to be at the pool! Lifeguards get paid between 9 and 15 dollars an hour and must be CPR trained. Usually you can go to your local community center like our Gladstone one and receive training there. Good job to have always being outside getting your tan on while being around your friends!
• Sports scorer/time/referee: Summer sports leagues are starting up! They definetly always need a helping hand. Love watching sports? Well this job is for you, starts around 15 dollars an hour, depends on coach/sport you are working for.
• Animal Shelter Associate: If people aren’t your thing spend your time with a bunch of animas instead. Who doesn’t like playing and petting dogs and cats on the daily?! This job starts at 10 dollars an hour and you have be 16 if you’d like to start work at Kc pet project!
