Photography Students Bring Breakfast to Class
On Wednesday, April 27, art teacher Christine Cover’s 1A photography class came together and brought supplies to make breakfast. The plan all started with eight students who sit in the back of the classroom; otherwise known as the Breakfast Club.
Every day of class, the eight students bring breakfast and chat in the back of the classroom, earning them the name the Breakfast Club, given to them by their photography teacher.
A week beforehand, the students planned to bring in supplies to make breakfast for everyone in the class. Waffles, eggs, burritos, donuts and drinks were served, all thanks to the group, as well as other students in the class.
“I brought food to help feed my fellow classmates,” said sophomore Bridgette Velasquez. “I would do this again. It was fun class bonding and the waffles were tasty. I love the Breakfast Club nickname and I want to be the princess.”
