Friday, March 18, StuCo announced the student body president and vice president duo.

After weeks of campaigning and dedication the winners were finally announced. The winners were Josie Ballard and Jessica Morrison.

The two ladies worked very hard to win the election from making posters, videos and more for their school.

“When I heard that Jess and I won, I was surprised because there was really tough competition between candidates. I was excited that the student body chose us to represent Oak Park,” Ballard said.

Morrison was also excited.

She said, “I couldn’t stop smiling. I was so happy and it made me super excited for next year. I was also really happy for Josie because she worked really hard for it and wanted it so much.”
