For 12 years, KC BizFest has been developing Kansas City’s future leaders  and Junior, Ingrid Lara has been chosen for the Kansas City Biz Fest for Latino students. 100 students were chosen from around the KC Metro.

During a four-day entrepreneurial boot camp that was led by local business partners, students like Ingrid learned how to develop a feasible business plan, present and develop themselves professionally.

After KC BizFest, students are encouraged to become a part of Latinos of Tomorrow where they will continue to develop themselves academically and socially and will be guided through the college planning process. There are also scholarship and other award opportunities tied to participation in this training.
