When I first came to Oak Park I wasn’t too excited, from what I’d heard Oak Park wasn’t the best.

People said Oak Park students were a bunch of potheads or drug users. Coming here, I realized those people were wrong. There were some kids who did drugs, but it wasn’t all like that.

Oak Park is, so far, the best school I’ve been to.

I like the fact that teachers are more lenient. I also liked the students at Oak Park, they were more real than the students at my old school. If a student at Oak Park didn’t like you, they weren’t fake to you about it, they wouldn’t try to be your friend and not act like they like you.

Oak Park is not the best school, but is is also not the worst school.

OP isn’t the best in sports, but were are improving.

Journalism at OP is way better, it’s more hands on than other schools. At my last school, the journalism teacher was the one who did all the work. The teacher basically made the show, he was the only reason it looked good.

Compared to other schools, I would say that OP is easier academically. There’s not a class that’s extremely hard at OP, which is what I really like.

Event though OP is not the best school, it has its perks.
