When it’s cold outside, go inside — inside your closet
Now that it’s cold, you might need to do some rearranging in your closet. It’s easy to lose your winter clothes in your summer clothes, but you don’t have to. All you need to do is rearrange your closet to accommodate to an easy all-year-round wardrobe. You can do it in 6 simple steps.
How to Organize Your Closet for Easy Accessibility
- Separate your long-sleeve shirts from your short-sleeved shirts.
- Organize them by color (have your favorite shirts in the front for easier access) and make sure you hang them up separately.
- Take our all your pants and organize them from cold to hot weather.
- Make a pile for jeans, capris, leggings, shorts and sweats (all according from color).
- Now hang your winter pants up with your long-sleeve shirts and your short pants up with your short-sleeve shirts.
- Now all you have to do is admire your handy work.
But what do you do about shoes?
Depending on what kind of closet you have will depend on how you organize your shoes. I suggest using a shoe rack for any type of closet, but you don’t have to use one. You can simply lay them out neatly under your bed or on the floor (near the walls) of your closet. This makes finding your shoes much easier in the mornings.
