Freshmen make t-shirts

A new tradition has been started this year; the freshman shirts! These are specifically designed for the students graduating in 2017.
“We wanted a shirt that was unique to just the 2017 class,” said Lori Dameron, the organizer of the event.
The design is a navy shirt with light blue lettering. There are graphics on the front, back, and sleeve.
“We tried to make them inexpensive so everyone could afford them,” said Dameron. The shirts cost only $7, and came in one of four sizes: small, medium, large, or extra large.
The goal of the freshman shirts is it create a sense of togetherness throughout the freshman.
“It will be something you all share when you graduate,” said Dameron.
It’s probably that the tradition will continue into the future, enough shirts are successfully sold to fund the next year.
“I think it will; we are hopeful,” said Dameron, “It should bring unity to each class, so we hope it continues.”
