On Wednesday, Dec. 18, boys basketball has important game against Platte County; and it is predicted to be very intense. It’s the silent night Christmas game.
Northmen News: And now I’m going to interview one of the players of the varsity team senior Darrin Head. So Darrin what do you expect out of this game?
Senior Darrin Head: I expect a good game and go to 3-0; and go to Christmas break with .500 (4-4).
NN: Do you think throughout your four years of high school basketball, did your team improve?
DH: Yes, I really do think that.
NN: What’s one of the biggest challenges goes through?
DH: For us to come together as a team and not do our own thing, it’s really not that hard to just get along but everyone is different.
NN: So Oak Park, you got the details of our basketball team, make sure to come and support them in every way at 7 p.m. tonight, they appreciate it very much. JV starts at 5:30 p.m. The theme tonight is ugly Christmas sweater; or any Christmas you can find.
