Journalism teacher Christina Geabheart takes photos of students at the Sadie dance on Saturday, February 2. Geabheart hopes to continue a journalism photo booth during future dances. In the past, Reeds Portrait Group took the photos. Geabheart said, “I think it went really well, given it was out very first time to do it and we had limited opportunities to advertise.”
Junior Hannah Williams manages the table at the photo booth for Sadie. Williams worked at the booth for about an hour and helped set it up. “It went a lot better than at homecoming and it was definitely worth it because a lot more money was raised than expected.”
Junior Bret Businger fills out a form for the photo booth at the Sadie dance. Businger and his date, junior Kelli created their own poses to make the pictures more interesting. “The photo booth went well, it was very flexible and allowed for us to have more fun with different poses. It is a good tradition to start because it is nice to have pictures taken at school rather than just having pictures taken from home.”
Juniors Kelli Reichert and Bret Businger pose for the journalism photo booth. Reichert has been involved in journalism for two years. Reichert said, “I was impressed by the efficiency and entertainment of the photo booth.”
