Senior Brenden Blue and junior Cameron Burns played father and son in Yellow Boat, a play for this year’s theatre for a cause in hope to raise money for Children’s Mercy Hemophilia Center. Blue played a young boy name Benjamin, who was born with hemophilia and died in 1987 at the age of 8. “Playing a young boy with such a wild imagination has been an outlet for my own creativity. Benjamin is not like any role I’ve done before; I have to really dig deep and be expressive with this character, and be as creative as I can.” Said Blue.
