Q&As by: Laura Wuthnow
Basketball Districts were Monday, Feb. 20. Northmen News caught up with team members to discuss the game and end of the season.
Northmen News: Did districts go how you want?
Freshman Mitchell Thompson: No, we’ve played better. We were really out of sync that night.
Senior Justin Thomas: Absolutely not, 42-46
Senior Jacob Sullivan: Well, no, we lost the first game.
NN: Could you have done anything differently?
MT: Yeah, we could’ve played better and played how we always had all season.
JT: Defense wasn’t very good, we couldn’t really execute plays.
JS: No, we tried as hard as we could; never a lack of effort.
NN: Are you satisfied with how the season ended?
MT: No, it could’ve been better. We progressed over the season and by the end we all got obnoxious.
JT: It couldn’t have been better, we never gave up.
JS: Yeah, because even though the record doesn’t show, we worked hard and we became a family on the court.
