Letter to the Seniors of 2017

Dear Class of 2017,

It’s time.

It’s our time.

We are the new seniors; we’re at the top of the food chain. We can no longer look for guidance from the seniors. We are the seniors. Everything we do will be analyzed by the underclassmen. We set the example for the school.

With that being said, this isn’t the time to start slacking off and make bad decisions. We are so close to the finish line. Don’t drop out of the race now. Classes may be hard, and getting to school at 7:23 a.m. every morning may seem impossible, but we can do it. A tardy every now and then is acceptable, but do not just quit all together. Don’t give up on your grades either. This is when they matter.

Can you push through this last year and finish? Senioritis is a very serious disease, and some of us may already have it now, but don’t let it hold you back.

Another important item to remember is that we now bring the spirit to the school. The senior classes that have the most spirit, usually have the best year. Assemblies, games, and events are things we should all make an effort to go to.

It can only get better from here so let’s make this year our best year yet.

Sincerely, Student of Class of 2017
