10 ways to relieve stress in five minutes

Finals week is definitely stressful but there are lots of ways you can counter that stress! You could always resort to comfort food or taking a run but there are more creative things that you can use in five minutes or less to relieve your stress!

 

  1. Take two minutes to think about all the nothing you can do over the summer.
  2. Call someone who can make you laugh for a quick chat.
  3. Turn the volume up and listen to your favorite song. Don’t be afraid to dance along! Get as crazy as you want!
  4. Search Google images for cutest baby in the world.
  5. Go and play your favorite mobile game for a few minutes.
  6. Chew some gum! Its weird but it helps!
  7. Become a master artist! Draw some doodles or grab a coloring page and some markers and go to town!
  8. Make a bucket list for your summer! The crazier the ideas the better!
  9. Go cuddle up next to your furry friend.
  10. DANCE! Turn on some jams and spin and kick around your house! Let out that nervous energy!

Even though you may overwhelmed by finals, you can always rely on these tricks to get rid of all that nervous energy. Although the best thing to do is to take some relaxing breaths, get a good breakfast, and get plenty of sleep the night before the big day. Good luck everyone!
