Hello Everyone; I have more wonderful and local fashion news for you all. As most of us know, Antioch Center has been kind of a ghost town for a couple years now, but our Sears has somehow stayed strong through it all, and boy, am I thankful.
The beginning of August is a hectic time for anyone, summer is ending, you’re hurrying to get everything together before school starts, and most importantly, back to school shopping. So while you were sleeping in as much as you could, the Kardashians were beginning to launch their new collection, or Kollection as they like to call it, for Sears stores worldwide.
The Kardashian sisters had designed an entire line themselves including not only apparel, but jewelry, footwear, and lingerie for young adults and women alike. The clothing, jewelry, and footwear were actually featured on a recent episode of America’s Next Top Model on Thursday, Oct. 13th, so all of you ANTM fans who would like to take a look at the girl’s handy work and eye for high fashion check out the episode as soon as possible.
Now that I have you convinced on how big of a deal this is, let’s talk about all the pieces that are accessible in our stores so you guys can be looking as fabulous as you possibly can this fall. I’m going to start with the good news; our Sears does in fact carry the apparel and footwear. Bad news is, if another jewelry shipment will come in is unclear at the moment, but it is all available online for the same pre-sale prices currently marked in-store.
These ladies are definitely business savvy, not only are all pieces on sale for the first two months, but they have a solid, well-crafted line that’s functional for dates, a girls night out, or a day at the office, all at affordable prices; even the couture pieces.
Okay, working girl, I know you’re thinking what could this collection possibly have to offer me that can be just as versatile as my schedule. Not only does the collection carry pencil skirts in both black and gray with metal accents to keep it formal and flattering, but there are also wide leg dress pants available in black, tan, and pebble gray that can be dressed up however you see fit both priced at $50.
Now for you wild cards out there that like to dress just as crazily as I do, they carry some rare pieces that you wouldn’t usually spot in your everyday department store. The very first thing that caught my attention were the leather leggings, I had seen the leather skirts, and shorts, and all that business during the end of summer but they just didn’t seem all that functional to me, but with these leggings, you can pair them with knits, furs, boots and booties, and not have to dress it up too much while keeping warm at the same time, and they were only $40. I was also really surprised to see a fur vest priced at only $40 as well, another fall essential for any fashionistas closet.
All you party people will be happy to know that the line carries a variety of different dresses for all occasions. My absolute favorite piece out of this entire collection is the black molded shoulder mesh front dress that is created for maximum figure flattery with the way the material hugs your curves but with the carefully placed cut out in front it leaves just enough to the imagination all for just $70. There’s also an option of a black or purple applique detail dress that’s also form fitting and flattering to your bust that can be paired with a nude shoe or blazer for $70. The last piece I think stood out to be the most was the black ottoman dress with the zipper detail, for any girl that wants her own little taste of couture, this dress is to die for, and it fits perfect with the 60s theme for fall this year, you can dress it up with gold accents and pair it with a dark shoe and look runway ready for $70.
For the girls who are on a budget and aren’t all that interested in being too dressy, there’s something for you too. The casual top that caught my eye was the matte satin and jersey fringe tunic that gave off sort of a flapper vibe that would look nice with a pair of jeans and a cardigan that requires no accessories, the shirt does it all for you for $40. All you fans of the crop top should be pleased to hear the Kardashian Kollection carries an asymmetrical super soft tee that still gives you the feel of summer in gray and maroon for $40.
Last but not least, the shoes. I am a total shoe junkie. I love them; my life goal is to have this immaculate collection of shoes by the time my career in fashion is over. So I was so excited to see what a great job they did designing these, they definitely did not slack. Could the Kardashian brand give Louboutin a run for his money? It’s quite possible at these prices.
The adorable lace booties with a sensible three inch heel carried in black will add spice to any outfit, the array of platform pumps from cheetah to dark brown are a steal, and the wedges with metal accents are perfect for any oddball who wants to add a pop of sparkle to her collection, each and every pair of these only run $40, I couldn’t believe it.
What I loved most about the Kardashian Kollection was not only did they keep every type of girl in mind when designing this line to give them the tools to be confident and well-dressed from head to toe under any circumstance, but not a single thing was priced over $100. I strongly urge each and every one of my readers to go check it out; I even went back after taking the photos below and bought a few things myself.
Amen Fashion,
