Waking up really early, having to eat a good breakfast, and getting that last minute cramming in. That stressful feeling of “Super Test Day” isn’t a good feeling.
First off, the gym felt like it could be snowing during the test. People could’ve been more focused on the test if they had the gym at a descent temperature. The least they could do is turn off the air. Not one person was comfortable in that gym.
After the PSAT was over, we had twenty minutes to spend doing nothing waiting to be released. We could’ve had longer breaks in between sections, instead. During the test, the time should’ve been longer for each section. Most people didn’t finish all of them. Or the least they could’ve done is have 5 minute warnings, so it would be easier to manage our time during the test.
Also, the teachers were very strict about the ‘no water bottle’ policy. It’s understandable that we can’t spill anything on the tests, but teenagers are capable on not spilling water everywhere. Sometimes we get thirsty and need water while we are testing.
If those flaws would have been changed, maybe the scores on the tests would have been affected in a positive way.
